If you find yourself driving around the North Miami area, you may pass a number of outdoor strip malls without so much as a thought. But hidden in one of the dark-roofed strips is a quaint gastropub called Lettuce and Tomato.
Don't let this name or the location fool you. With a philosophy hell-bent on investing in quality ingredients rather than over-priced rent, Lettuce and Tomato is redefining the North Miami gourmet food scene in the least likely of places.
Considering it was a random Tuesday, one of the first things I noticed when I entered the restaurant was its infectious energy and vibrant crowd. TThose fortunate enough to hear about Lettuce and Tomato, like that Tuesday evening crowd, are in for quite the experience from appetizers and all the way through dessert.
