No matter where you are in Miami, there are hot nudes to satisfy everyone.
Whoa chill… I meant noods. And by noods, I'm talking about Japan’s favorite type of food porn: ramen noodles.
A far cry from your run of the mill college dish, these noodles just hit the big leagues by making the jump from your dorm’s microwave to Miami Beach and Brickell’s top restaurants. So let's take a look at how these restaurants are transporting their customers from Miami to Tokyo with nothing but a bowl, a pair of chopsticks and some noodles.
Brickell: Shimuja Pop Up at Baby Jane
Born out of Brickell’s sister city in Japan, Kagoshima, comes a truly one-of a kind experience for locals dining at the Shimuja pop up.
Two things stuck out to me. One was the fusion of Miami and Japanese cultures to create several dishes including the Mozzarella Mentaiko Harumaki with mozzarella sourced straight from the 305.
Second was the abundance of authentic ingredients with noodles imported from San Francisco to the soy sauce and even the handmade bowls imported from Kagoshima. Let’s not forget the pork bone broth cooked from scratch.
Mmmmm pork broth for the soul.
Miami Beach: K Ramen
Looking for a year-round, authentic Japanese meal? We might just have the answer to these kinds of spontaneous cravings.
With a name like K Ramen, it’s no surprise that plenty of people are stopping by this underground restaurant for a warm bowl of (you guessed it) ramen. But I’m here to tell you that there’s so much more to this joint than just noodles. From double decker burgers to Cubano spring rolls, K Ramen will have you lusting for more, K?
Miami, please keep sending hot noods our way.
