February 5— to America, it’s Super Bowl Sunday, but to the world it’s the highly anticipated World Nutella Day.
For some, this Sunday is all about how many touchdowns Tom Brady throws or the 3,627,367 receiving yards Julio Jones records. Others prefer to spend their time critiquing pee-your-pants funny, but often times just lame, commercials.
And then there are the eaters, the true winners because we all know a happy belly never loses.
This year those people get to celebrate not only your average football watch-party nachos and seven-layer dip, but the nutty spread that is Nutella as well.
What started as a resourceful solution to the shortage of cocoa supplies following the World War 2 rationing, quickly reinvented menu offerings globally. So, to celebrate Nutella’s impressive climb through the ranks over the years, here is a ranking of Miami’s Nutella dishes:
