When it comes to fine dining, you know you can usually expect at least ONE of the following:
- Exceptional service
- Incredible ambiance
- Stand-out food
Let’s face it - VERY few places have managed to check all of those boxes and offer up the full package. It’s safe to say we’ve all experienced a meal with unbelievable food and an obnoxiously snooty waiter. Or, perhaps you’ve found yourself in a trendy, gorgeous restaurant that you soon find out is just a pretty face. Right?
Well, fear not, because the full package DOES exist! I’ve recently re-discovered The Capital Grille, a restaurant that has completely nailed it in just about every way. It’s a truly authentic, real-deal, fine dining experience that’s one for the books.
So here’s what you can count on at The Capital Grille:
- Exceptional service: I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so beyond impressed with the service at a restaurant. Everyone from the host to the waiter to the maître D was so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without ever being overbearing. Our waiter, Andres, guided us seamlessly through a menu with far too many enticing options. He made all of the right recommendations and played a big role in ensuring the meal was nothing short of perfect. Andres, you are a Godsend!
- Incredible ambiance: What I love about at The Capital Grille is the fact that it pulls off this effortless sophistication without any of the bells and whistles that you often see at Miami’s hotspots. It oozes class and charm without coming off as stuffy – an impressive achievement in my opinion. It’s the perfect spot for an intimate date night or a special occasion with family and friends.
- Stand-out food: When you first lay eyes on the menu, you’ll know you’re in for a treat. The Capital Grille offers so much more than your typical steak-house staples. I was salivating before I even had a morsel of food on the table. Below you’ll see some of the drool-worthy dishes we were lucky enough to indulge in.
If that’s not the full package, I don’t know what is!
